So yeah, I still don't have anything of any importance to post about. I have returned to write about something that may or not be interesting, the differences between the three versions of "Honjitsu, Mankai Watashi Iro!" or as translated into English by Doughnutgunso, “My Colour Is In Full Bloom Today!”, the first ending theme from season two and one of Hinagiku's image songs. Look for the comparisons after the jump.
The Three Amiga Version (original)
H-I-N-A Ma-n-kai! Hai Hai!
H-I-N-A Hinagiku! Hai Hai! (from the intro)
This is the version that originally was the ending theme and is the version that most everyone has heard if they have heard this song, so it will act as my base of comparison. It has electric guitar throughout and percussion with some electronic touches. The song features extensive interjection from Izumi, Risa, and Miki. Twice within the song the three have full sections to themselves, which is a common feature in all the versions as during these parts Hina doesn't sing. Their interjections lead up to the climax where Hina says:
わたしも 「んだいすきっ！」
I “Um… love you too!”
After which they cheer for both Hina and themselves as they got Hina to confess. The voices sound exactly like the speaking voices from the anime.
The Nishizawa Ayumu Version

One of the first differences is the fact that the electric guitar is replaced after the introduction with a acoustic guitar. The percussion is essentially the same from the first version, but the electronic influences are a bit more apparent. Ayumu's interjections are not as obvious as the interjections from the Three Amiga in the other version and besides the parts where Ayumu sings by herself, her voice sounds a bit electronic. Ayumu also finishes out the end of the song and sings after Hina is finished. A final difference is that Ayumu names herself in the song during the first blank spot. The acoustic guitar is what makes this version particularly unique as it suggests that Ayumu actually played during the song. This is suggested due to the fact that, as many fans of the series know, Ayumu plays the guitar.
The Katsura Yukiji Version
ドンペリ・日本酒・缶チュー ハイハイ! （酎ハイ）
深酒・安酒 おかわり ハイハイ! (Kanji; from intro)
DONPERI-nihon shu-kan CHUU HAI HAI!

A fairly obvious difference in this version is the fact that Yukiji provides a long intro that happens to be about herself and alcohol. This version is really kind of a cross between the original and Ayumu version. Yukiji's interjections are more noticeable and the electric guitar is used throughout. In addition Yukiji sounds like herself at all points unlike Ayumu's electronic touch-up. Finally, this version has Yukiji talking after the end of Hina's part, just like Ayumu.
So there are the differences that I perceived while listening to the songs. Compared to the original Ayumu's version is quite different and Yukiji's version is also fairly different, but also seems like a cross between the original and Ayumu's version.
Postscript: I within this post mentioned Doughnutgunso. Anybody who reads this blog should also go to http://www.doughnutgunso.com as he has a good blog and has written good fanfictions about Hayate no Gotoku. (The fanfic I read was so good apparently some thought it was canon material.)
