Hayate Spends Time with Hinagiku while Nagi Cools-Off: A Long Arc
Or "Hayate's Sendout"
Includes chapters (74)75 - 81. (I do not really consider 74 part of the arc proper, so it is in parentheses. 74 is really kind of a bridge between this arc and the previous one with Kazuki.)

Nagi rewards Hayate for drying her hair with a kiss. (Ch. 74)
Hayate is sent out of the mansion so Nagi can regain her composure. (Ch. 75)
Hayate is found on the streets by Hinagiku. (Ch. 75)
Hayate spends his first night at Hinagiku's awake worrying about his grades. (Ch. 76)
Maria puts her old Hakuou uniform on to check on Hayate at school. (Ch. 77)
Maria infiltrates Hakuou and Hayate attempts to apologize to her before being stopped by the elevator. (Ch. 78)
Hayate and Hinagiku make dinner together. (Ch. 79)
Hayate reveals that he and Ayumu are not a couple. (Ch. 80)

Commentary
This is an arc I like quite a bit, particularly when Maria puts on her old uniform (though I am not sure how it still fits her as she graduated at thirteen. If it is the same uniform from years ago it must have been floor length at the time.) This arc is also quite nice in that it handles three romantic subplots at once (Nagi's with Hayate, Ayumu's with Hayate, and Hinagiku's with Hayate.) The first hints at Hinagiku's past round out this arc as one that addresses things besides romance.

Events
Nagi adopts Shiranui. (Ch. 82)
Shiranui gets Tama imprisoned. (Ch. 82)
After being hissed at by Shiranui, Isumi goes to Sakuya for help and endures one of Sakuya's jokes. (Ch. 83)
Sakuya gets serious and advises Isumi to wear clothes like her and Nagi; after Isumi puts on a skirt and goes to the Sanzenin's Hayate reveals that the problem wasn't her and uses catnip spray so Shiranui likes Isumi. (Ch. 83)
Sonia sees Wataru again. (Ch. 84)
Sonia saves Saki from kidnappers in return for a kiss from Wataru. (Ch. 84)
Hayate and Nagi learn an important fact about fishing: fishing starts with carp and ends with carp. (Ch. 85)
Yukiji gets Klaus to throw a party a the Sanzenin house. (Ch. 86)
Nagi gets Yukiji to admit she doesn't really want a boyfriend, she wants fancy booze. (Ch. 86)
